You can find our contact details in the Legal Notice.
In addition to us, the respective operator of the social media platform is also responsible for the processing of your personal data. Insofar as we can influence this and configure the data processing settings, we will use the means at our disposal to ensure that the operator of the social media platform handles your data in accordance with data protection regulations. In this context, please also refer to the privacy policies of the respective social media platforms.
Data processing by us
The data you enter on our social media pages, such as usernames, comments, videos, images, ‘likes’, public posts, etc., is published by the social media platform and is not processed by us for any other purposes at any time. We reserve the right to delete content only where necessary. Where applicable, we may share your content on our page if this is a feature of the social media platform, and we may communicate with you via the social media platform.
If you submit an enquiry to us via the social media platform, depending on the content, we may also refer you to other secure channels of communication that guarantee confidentiality. For example, you may at any time send your enquiries to the address or email address . The choice of the appropriate communication channel is your own responsibility.
The legal basis for the processing of your data is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The data processing is carried out in the legitimate interest of conducting public relations activities for our company and being able to communicate with you.
Some social media platforms generate statistics based on usage data, which contain information about your interaction with our social media page. We have no control over the generation or provision of these statistics, nor can we prevent them.
We process this information in accordance with Article 6(1), first sentence, point (f) of the GDPR in the legitimate interest of evaluating the use of our social media pages and improving our content in a way that is tailored to our target audience.
We also occasionally use the social media platforms described to display targeted advertising.
To this end, we use target audience definitions provided to us by the social media provider. We use only anonymous target audience definitions – that is, we define characteristics based, for example, on general demographic data, behaviour, interests and connections. The operator of the social media platform uses these to display advertisements to its users accordingly. The legal basis for this is the consent that the operator of the social media platform has obtained from its users. If you wish to withdraw this consent, please use the opt-out options provided by the social media platform operator, as the social media platform operator is responsible for this processing.

Occasionally, we or the social media platform provider also use publicly available data to define target groups. The legal basis for this processing is then Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest in this regard is to define the target group as accurately as possible. We never use sensitive categories of personal data, as referred to in Articles 9 and 10 of the GDPR, for the purpose of defining target groups.
We do not use location data to define target audiences. We do not pass on any personal data to the operator of the social media platform for the purposes of defining target audiences.
Occasionally, we also use information about visits to or interactions with other websites (so-called remarketing) for target audience definition. To this end, we also use cookies, amongst other things. In such cases, however, we obtain users’ consent in advance via a consent banner on the relevant other websites and provide information about the data processing at that point. You may withdraw this consent at any time by accessing the consent banner on the relevant website again.
If you wish to object to a specific form of data processing over which we have control, please contact us using the details provided in the legal notice.
Retention period
We will delete your personal data once it is no longer required for the aforementioned processing purposes and provided that no statutory retention obligations prevent its deletion.
Data processing by the social media platform operator
The operator of the social media platform uses web tracking methods. This web tracking may take place regardless of whether you are logged in or registered with the social media platform.
We would therefore like to point out that it cannot be ruled out that the social media platform provider may use your profile and behavioural data to analyse, for example, your habits, personal relationships, preferences, etc. We have no influence over the processing of your data by the social media platform provider; consequently, your use of the social media platform is at your own risk.
Further information on data processing by the social media platform provider, configuration options for protecting your privacy, as well as further options to object and, where available and concluded, the agreement pursuant to Article 26 of the GDPR, can be found in the provider’s privacy policy at :

If the data is processed on the basis of a legitimate interest for the purposes of direct marketing, you have a separate right to object, which you may exercise at any time without giving reasons and which, when exercised, will result in the cessation of processing for the purposes of direct marketing.
